Lost another 1/2 a pound. That means I am 2 1/2 pounds less than when I got pregnant 20 weeks ago.... I am starting to worry now. The doctor sent me home from my appointment with a strict diet.....Fried Chicken and Ice Cream. LOL> I eat what I want I just can't seem to make it stick. I wish I had this "problem" before I got pregnant.

Hi all! Losing the weight is getting easier, as long as I can stay away from pizza and oreo cookies, but I still need more support.

I think I posted the link to my site here before, but it wasn't quite ready for the public eye at that point. I encourage all of you to pay us a visit again and check everything out.

I was a member of this community when I was pregnant. Now, my son is 2 and a half months old. It's time for me to lose the weight i gained!

So to help me with this, i made a community.

Anyone know a good website that has specifics on what exercises and streches are safe for pregnancy? I had a really good workout routine going before I got pregnant. My Dr. pretty much told me "Keep exercising but take it easy and no abs". That's it. Not very specific. I'm kinda thinking what about all those women who worked out in the fields then gave birth under a tree? But I don't want to do anything stupid either because I'm sure their miscarriage rate was high. Duh. Thanks all!

So I've been eating like a pig and now I'm down two pounds. I went for a school physical today. I was quite surprised. Maybe I just wasn't eating enough calories before so my body was holding onto them. I haven't had morning sickness so they're not coming back up. I guess the baby is burning them. Whatever the reason I was glad to see that since I really shouldn't be gaining weight just yet.

Confession: Boudain for dinner last night and 3 slices of pizza and breadsticks the night before. I bought some healthy choice Ice cream last night but ate dinner so late I didn't have room before I hit the sack. So bonus points for buying good ice cream and then not eating eat loose points for eating dinner at 9pm.

Hi everyone,

I just joined so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 29 and expecting my 1st Jan 25th. I am starting out in the hole here. I'm already 25 lbs overweight and have a tendacy to have high blood pressure. I just lost 28lbs with Dr. Phils help but still had a ways to go. So my plan is to keep on with my sensible eating and exersise. Although I have cut back my workout routine intensity. I have also cut out all ab work since my ob said to.

This week (wk 9) the hunger pains kicked in and I seem to be hungery all the time. At least I missed the morning sickness though. So I lucked out there.

The first day my appeite really took off I felt like such a pig but after I wrote down all I ate it wasn't so bad. I had been doing so good watching calories and carbs. before I got pregnant the increase wasn't so bad.

The one thing I do need to watch out for big time is excusing the bad foods. ie. the pizza I had for breakfast yesterday.

Anyway I'm glad I found this community and look forward to getting to know you all.

i know its not right, but like since my weight gain is a tad excessive, it makes me want to not gain any more weight or lose weight. I KNOW thats not right its not the answer, but thats how i am. I tend to be extreme about things. Maybe thats why i was anorexic before. fuckers. i talked to my dad and he was like take some pics. i wanna see how fat your getting. does he not remember i had to go to rehab for coke because i wanted to lose as much weight as possible at one point in my life? helllllooooo?? wtf. so in my head i heard my friends voice say "water off a ducks back" and just let it go. whatever. I'm going to be skinny after the baby. let me be fat now get it all over with. then afterwards i'll be skinny and happy and whatever. i just want them to shut up. i suppose letting them know my history might help, but i dont' see it as being their business and whatever. fuck it. this will be over soon anyway.

i'm done discussing this.

So i have to go on a diet.
and walk around and stuff.

doc says.

SO. my new rules. No junk food. Nothing with corn syrup as an ingredient. Minimal starches. No sugars or artificial sugars. Only natural sugars. No instant tea. Only water and 100% juice if i want something with flavor. No coffee. No starbucks. only decaf free coffee from work black. No candy. Only fruit and raw veggies. I'm tempted to give up all the yogurt cuz it has more sugar than i'd like but i bought a bunch of them and they have to be eaten by a certain date. like 7 days after the sell by date. plus i need calcium. No sugary cereals. nothing artificially colored or brightly colored.

My blood pressure was good. 108/60 i think she said. i dunno whats normal but she seemed content with it. so i'm like cool.

heartbeat was 140 and steady.

i'm 30 weeks and i haven't picked out a pediatrician. So we must do that.

She asked about birth classes or parent classes something like that. We haven't signed up for anything i told her. she says what are you going to do when you go into labor? i was like go to the hospital. she was like no, we have you wait a few hours before you do that. what will you do in the mean time? i was like deal with it. she didn't like that answer. I'm the kind of person who deals with things as they come. I don't really care to have things planned out i'd rather wing it. i have faith that things will work out and i'll get through whatever. I have so far. shit.

So she recommended we read a book by sears and sears, called the birth book. i don't have much time to read. i barely have enough time to eat and make dinner before 11 at night. thats just how it is.

So i have a lot to do i guess as far as preparing for the birth of this boy. she asked if we were going to get him clipped. i said yeah sure. i dont' have much opinion about it, i just know the majority of guys i have "seen" are clipped and so let's do it.

So that was my doc appointment.

I haven't gained any weight (according to my scale) since my last weigh in (I use the weight chart at Very Best Baby

My appetite decreased for a short while but today and yesterday I was feeling absolutely starved. I've done alright with my eating though. I just wish it were warm out and there was no snow so I could take the kids to the park or for a walk or work in the garden - it seems that when I have nothing to do but sit here - all I can think about is what I'm going to cook for the next meal!
